Senior Citizen

Our senior citizens are actively involved in ministries of encouragement, hospitality, meal preparation, and teaching. Many have participated in volunteering at the White Mills Christian Camp for special projects and needs. We also offer a senior citizens’ group that enables members to do some day trips that involve fellowship, worship, and fun.

Music Ministry

Our church seeks to worship God and serve Him through various musical talents and outlets. Those with musical abilities are encouraged to share their gift with others by serving on the worship team, presenting a special or leading worship during youth/special activities.

Mission Ministry

The White Mills Christian Church believes that it is our Christian responsibility to help those in our community, as well as those around the world in need of God's love and care. The church supports a variety of ministries, with guidance beyond provided by an active mission's committee. Ministries include, but are not limited to, White Mills Christian Camp, Louisville Bible College, Grundy Mountain Mission School, Western Kentucky University's Christian Student Fellowship, as well as numerous missionaries located in foreign regions, such as Japan, China, Korea, Russia and Thailand.

Women's Ministry

The church's women's ministry, the Women's Council, is comprised of numerous women, of all ages, who share a passion for service to God, fellowship with other women, and hope to offer encouragement to the church family. The Women's Council completes many service projects throughout the year, helping community neighbors and Christian neighbors abroad. Whether preparing/organizing meals for those who have lost loved ones, organizing showers for special life events, preparing special meals, answering calls for assistance, sending cards of encouragement to church family members, the Council is always busy in their service to God. The Women's Council meets on the first Monday evening of each month in the Christian Life Center at 7:00 p.m.
